Who We Are
We worship in Spirit and Truth – John 4: 24
The Well is a Holy Spirit led group of folx who are building a unique faith community in Bowie, Maryland. We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington.
We are the Unchurched (those who have no experience or knowledge of Christianity),
Over-churched (those who are grew up in church and who have become disenchanted with Christianity),
Under-churched (those who grew up in the church and wish to know more about the Christian faith).
We embrace our faith by being instruments of the Divine’s peace. We believe in seeing the divine in our neighbors, strangers, nature, and the hard-to-see places. We support each other’s journey towards spiritual connection and wellness.
We are active in the community. We support each other by our service to the world, faith exploration, and fellowship. We value truth – even if it’s disruptive; compassion – even if it’s difficult; and authenticity – because we are all wonderfully made.
We are doing a new thing! We are creating and building a faith community.
We welcome all who wish to help create and build, and be a part of a new way of doing church.
